THE COLERIDGE WAY - QR Code Poetry
The QR poetry is one of those simple ideas that is really based around a secret or hidden text. Here the pupils of Dunster, Nether Stowey and Porlock schools created poetry which was inspired through their immersion in the environment, in much the same way Coleridge and Wordsworth did. Each school walked out of the classroom to brave the snow, rain, and icy winds (yes they really did) in pursuit of their poetic art.

A selection of the poetry has been re-installed in the environment after transformation into QR form.
Note installation has been with full permission from the appropriate land management teams.
To read the words the children were able to harvest from the clean bright air of Somerset 200 years after Coleridge and Wordsworth, you will have to step out onto the trail and decode yourself a poetry walk.

Scan apps are freely available to download from Android and Apple platforms, and when in use they need no internet connection, so work brilliantly in the wild corners of Exmoor.
Christopher has been working with five more schools along the trail this spring 2014, harvesting words and creating poetry. These will be added to the trail early June 2014.

The wind blows when the river flows,
the trees sway on a windy day,
the lambs sleep while their mothers bleat, the birds squawk while the children talk, the leafless trees sway in the breeze.
