Tales from the Combe
Christopher Jelley
THE WATCHING WAY
Allow 2 hours for this walk that departs from Dulverton church. The story will lead you through the woods so sturdy footwear is advised.

After a fall the young narrator recalls hearing voices coming up from the earth, on this journey she discovers the truth and much, much more. Interactive elements are in the story line also, so expect to be crafting as well as walking.

THE WINDING CHARM
This walk explores the village of Dunster - think you know the village then think again. An interactive story where you are encouraged to create 'art' from found objects. Allow a couple of hours especially if little ones are joining you - although distance wise you will only cover 1 mile. Wear wellies as I am sure no one will be able to resist a paddle at some stage!

TYPHUS

This tale follows on from the characters in The Winding Charm, but do not worry if you haven't read the first walk, as the story stands alone. Starting from the beach at Porlock Weir your journey will take you through ancient woodland. There are some steep climbs and the path can be muddy so is recommended for the more intrepid. Allow 3 hours to amble the 3.5 miles
Instruction and Installation
Listed below are the titles and locations of my Storywalks, plus a brief outline of each story. Each walk installs itself through a web page, and once downloaded (which will only take a moment on Wifi) there is no need to be connected to the internet or have any mobile reception at all. Smart phones or a 3G iPad are essential as this project pushes the current tech to it's limits.

So which tale and trail will you choose?
