THE COLERIDGE WAY - Fly Catchers

Coleridge called his note books, Fly Catchers, as he used them to snatch ideas before they flittered away, something we can all relate to. So for this element of the rejuvenation projects storywalks will use Coleridge's own hand writing and re install it in the very landscape which inspired him.

With the innovative storywalks engine, the user simply clicks a link (below) which puts all the files into the browser of your mobile device with no hassel or password obstacles. To view you will need to journey to the individual trail heads, but once there the first chapter will reveal along with directions to the second.
Nether Stowey
The first is on the castle mound at Nether Stowey and includes an interesting poem written by William Wordsworth for Coleridge's son Hartley, but actually penned by Coleridge himself. The elements reveal as you circle the mound with the final piece on the summit.

Porlock Weir
The third is Kubla Khan, geo-located at Porlock Weir, travel over the metal bridge to reveal the first segment. This version of the poem varies from the first publication and these slight differences are noted at the end.
To install you will need to click the image or URL above, and then all files and images will open in a browser page immediatly. This may be best to do before you travel to the locations as the mobile reception in West Somerset can be unpredictable.
The award winning web-app will initially cache the files on first click, so amazingly they will work without any data or mobile connection at all once opened.
Each file has instructions, directions and text support embedded.
